In this one the AC21 Scandium barrel and the 3X composite are bonded seamlessly. This offers a greater performance.
Stiffness and Strength equals Power and Performance
If the handle is flexing then the handle won’t flex. This will reduce the trampoline effect. With a stiff handle you will produce a barrel flex, resulting in maximum trampoline effect. The TPX H2 Hybrid is stiffer than the Exogrid.
Stiffer Handle and Trasition
TPX H2 uses a 100% composite handle. The full graphite composite design is the one in the mid section of the bat. This allows the bat to be even stiffer than the Exogrid. Graphite is lighter and stringer than aluminum. So it gives a stiffer handle.
AC21 Scandium Alloy
The AC21 Scandium alloy is exclusive to TPX Louisville Slugger and is new for 2011. This metal is very stronger. This new Scandium alloy is developed by utilizing the 40 years of experience of TPX. This TPX Exogrid 2 AC21 Scandium is combined with composite to make sure that the walls are thinner. This makes the bat to provide a better performance. The bat is lighter and gives a long barrel a sweet spot.
